About Us

Building a vibrant community driving innovation in avionics and aerospace systems.

Welcome to the Avionics Society a Vibrant community driving Innovation in Avionics Hub of Guided Missile and Aerospace systems for manned and unmanned Vehicles.

“Systems Engineering and Technology” is an interdisciplinary approach and means to enable the realization of successful systems. It focuses on defining customer needs and required functionality early in the development cycle with documenting requirements, and then proceeding with design synthesis and system verification & validation while considering the complete problem. Avionic Systems took a lead role to shape this as an independent discipline over 80 years. Striking results have been obtained in the fields of Communication, Control, Computation & Signal processing along with progress in Microelectronics which helped to fulfil the need of the Avionics System. It is impossible to imagine in 21st century without thinking of Professor Rudolf Kalman's Filter & its extensions for Avionic System Missions.

It was felt to form a " Vibrant Community driving Innovation " in Avionics Hub of Guided Missile and Aerospace systems for manned and unmanned Vehicles including UAV/Helicopter/ Spacecraft/Academia Scientists & Engineers in MISSILE Complex of RCI with the Theme “Systems Engineering and Technology” ( SET ) with  interdisciplinary approach enabling the realization of a successful system. Thomas Kailath, father of the Modern Avionics System, encouraged Missile/Aircraft/UAV/Helicopter/ Spacecraft/Academia Scientists & Engineers to go further & build a Common Forum.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam our Missile Guru already motivated ICAS 2008 on AVIONICS SYSTEMS organised by RCI in 22-23 Feb 2008 in association with IEEE, AESI & CSI Hyderabad & in collaboration RCI, DRDL, ASL, ITR, ADE, ADA, LRDE, ARDE, DLRL, VSSC & IISC, IITs, JU, HCU etc. in the DRDO Golden Jubilee year as a First Event. Established Scientists from the Defence Research and Development Organization(DRDO) took Active Role in ICAS 2008 including Spacecraft/Academia Scientists & Engineers in MISSILE Complex to debate & exchange interdisciplinary approach benefits and means to enable the realization of successful systems. It focuses on defining customer needs and required functionality.

A Common forum AVIONICS SOCIETY got evolved over 5 years & was formed in 29th April 2013 in Advance Simulation Centre, RCI Hyderabad, India under the leadership of Aerospace Electronics & System Engineers.

The organisation Established by Scientists from the Defence Research and Development Organization(DRDO) along with Spacecraft/Academia Scientists & Engineers. The Society activities include fraternization amongst professionals, promotion of Avionic and Aeronautical activities awareness through workshops and seminars on subject of interests.

To promote research in the field of avionics and carry on analytical, experimental and other work in relation to the general object of the society or otherwise to conduct seminars and conference in the field of avionics.

The International Conference on Electronic Systems and Artificial Intelligence Applications (ICESAIA - 2026) aims to bring together researchers, industry experts, and academicians to share insights and innovations in Electronic Systems, AI technologies, and their interdisciplinary applications. The conference will cover advanced topics such as Machine Learning, Embedded Systems, IT, Robotics, and AI-driven sustainable technologies to get the SILVER BONDING in the AVIONICS SOCIETY'S Common Platform of “Systems Engineering and Technology (SET)” with Interdisciplinary approach.

The fund available ICAS 2008 seminar was accepted by the Association which will form its corpus fund for promoting research in the field of avionics and carry on analytical, experimental and other work in relation to the general object of the society or otherwise to conduct seminars and conference in the field of avionics as well as to motivate the New Generation towards Start Ups and Incubation Centres as highlighted in the MEMORANDUM Linked. (Memorandum ** )

The techno managerial support with availability of some minimum funds for Newly formed AVIONICS SOCIETY.
